In order to reestablish his dominance over magic, the blue Dragon Aspect, Malygos, has launched a ruthless campaign to sever the link between mortals and the arcane energies coursing through Azeroth. To this end, his blue dragonflight is redirecting the ley lines of the world to the Nexus, Malygos' towering lair.

Bosses

1. Commander Kolurg

Commander Kolurg sought dangerous treasures to add to the Horde armories. His anger at his misfortune in the Halls of Stasis will not be eased when he thaws to find Alliance adventurers stealing his thunder.

Abilities

Heroic Difficulty Only
The Frozen Commander is only available in Heroic Difficulty.
Whirlwind
Commander Kolurg attacks all players within 8 yards in a whirlwind of steel, inflicting Physical damage.
Battle Shout
Commander Kolurg increases the damage of nearby allies by 20% for 2 min.
Charge
Commander Kolurg charges a player, inflicting Physical damage and stunning them for 2 sec.
Frightening Shout
Commander Kolurg releases a terrifying yell, fearing all players within 8 yards for 4.5 sec.

2. Commander Stoutbeard

Commander Stoutbeard led his troops against some of the most dangerous enemies of the Alliance. The Halls of Stasis may have slowed him down, but the sight of Horde adventurers will get him up and running again.

Abilities

Commander Stoutbeard attacks all players within 8 yards in a whirlwind of steel, inflicting Physical damage.

3. Grand Magus Telestra

It is rumored the Grand Magus Telestra tutored Prince Kael'thas. Though she believed the Prince allying with the naga was foolish, she could not support Dalaran imprisoning her people. Malygos only needed to remind her of this betrayal to gain her as an instructor for his mage hunters.

Abilities

Firebomb
Grand Magus Telestra hurls a ball of fire at a player, inflicting 0 Fire damage to them and all players within 5 yards of them.
Ice Nova
Grand Magus Telestra inflicts Frost damage to all players within 60 yards, stunning them for 3 sec.
Gravity Well
Grand Magus Telestra continuously pulls all players within 60 yards to her, rapidly inflicting Shadow damage for 6 sec.
Mirror Images
When Grand Magus Telestra reaches 50% health remaining, she splits into 3 mirror images.

Loot

4. Anomalus

Directing so much of Azeroth's arcane energy through the Nexus has created tears in reality. As Malygos's forces try to drive back invading creatures, the chaotic arcane power has taken form as Anomalus. If the creature is not stopped, it will unmake everything it can touch.

Abilities

Spark
Anomalus hurls a magical bolt at a player, inflicting 0 Arcane damage.
Arcane Attraction
Anomalus increases Arcane damage taken of a random player by 10% for 10 sec.
Create Rift
Anomalus tears a fabric in space, opening a Chaotic Rift near himself.
Rift Shield
When Anomalus reaches 50% health remaining, he channels energy to nearby Chaotic Rifts for 45 sec, charging them with energy. While the Rift Shield is active, Anomalus is immune to all damage taken.

5. Ormorok the Tree-Shaper

The incredible arcane energies of the Nexus have transformed the Singing Gardens and its guardians. Ormorok's simple mind has become obsessed with the energies transforming him. For those who would interrupt his contemplations he has few words, but a mountain of violence.

Abilities

Spell Reflection
Ormorok the Tree-Shaper's skin shimmers, reflecting the next 4 spells back at their caster.
Trample
Ormorok the Tree-Shaper tramples all players within 10 yards, inflicting 0 Physical damage.
Crystal Spikes
Ormorok the Tree-Shaper summons a series of crystal spikes that radiate out in all directions. After a short time, they will erupt from the ground, inflicting 0 Physical damage to all players within 3 yards and knocking them into the air.
Summon Crystalline Tangler
Crystalline Tanglers root players for 2 sec on successful melee attacks.
Frenzy
When Ormorok the Tree-Shaper reaches 30% health remaining, he goes into a frenzy, increasing his Physical damage done by 50%.

6. Keristrasza

Whether the tortures inflicted on Keristrasza were revenge for the death of Saragosa or a misguided attempt to turn her into an ally is known only to Malygos. Regardless of his intent, her allies have heard her cries of anguish and disturbing whispers of her diminishing mind.

Abilities

Intense Cold
Keristrasza is filled with intense cold, inflicting 0 Frost damage every 1 sec to all players and reducing their haste by 10%. This effect stacks stacks up to 9 times and is removed by moving.
Crystalfire Breath
Keristrasza inflicts 0 Frostfire damage to all players in a cone in front of her, slowing their movement speed by 25% and inflicting an additional 0 Frostfire damage every 2 sec for 10 sec.
Tail Sweep
Keristrasza swings her tail, inflicting 0 Physical damage to all players in a cone behind her, knocking them back.
Crystal Chains
Keristrasza chains a player, inflicting 0 Frost damage and immobilizing them for 10 sec.
Crystallize
Keristrasza inflicts 0 Frost damage to all players, immobilizing them for 10 sec.
Enrage
When Keristrasza reaches 25% health remaining, she enrages, increasing her Physical damage by 10% and attack speed by 30% for 2 min.
