Once only usable as an edible plant for fleeting magical power, recent evolutionary changes and alchemical breakthroughs with bloodthistle have led to its use across the professions. This more potent growth has come to be known as sanguithorn, and still boasts fearsome magical capabilities. Sanguithorn are known to tether themselves to rocks, either above or under the ground, so check for them in more rugged terrain. While the power of the void has been present on Azeroth since time immemorial, recent events have caused it to surge. It has managed to seep into the world, which has had adverse affects on the local ecology. In some cases, the unstable energies of the void have caused these herbs to be sent across the Twisting Nether to parts unknown. In this case, you happened to find this specimen in the Voidstorm.
