Found within the bright, outdoor spaces of Khaz Algar, Arathor's Spear is a hearty herb with numerous uses. Most noteworthy is that the fibers can be woven to make parchment, or when tightly packed and treated, a material akin to wood. This allows it to be used for anything from books, to bows, to staves. Recent events have led to a large amount of arcane magic to leak into the soil of Khaz Algar. As was noted back on the Dragon Isles, flora tend to be susceptible to magical influences, and this situation is no different. Some herbs here have become irradiated with arcane energy, and gathering them will allow the herbalist to obtain some Leyline Residue for their troubles. What may happen with the unstable arcane energy that remains however, is another story...
